Hatsune Miku x K.R.T. Girls Collaboration Confirmed

Taiwanese marketing company, Simon Creative, has confirmed the Hatsune Miku collaboration with the K.R.T. Girls!

The collaboration was first teased at on April 1, 2019, when some thought that it could have been an April Fools’ prank.

But now it has been confirmed that the collaboration is real, and is taking place in celebration of Miku Expo‘s return to Taiwan!

The first stage of the collaboration has Miku, Rin, Len, and Luka from Crypton Future Media appearing on warning posters that will be placed in 38 trains run by the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation. The posters show them wearing the same attire as the K.R.T. Girls to warn passengers about safety protocols and food and drink prohibition while riding on the trains.

Furthermore, pop-up displays of the characters can now be seen in various stations throughout Kaohsiung. Photos come from this GNN article and Simon Creative’s official Twitter, where you can find even more photos!

Furthermore, it has been announced that they are giving away the posters at three select Kaohsiung Rapid Transit stations starting today until May 11. Customers who have purchased a Miku Expo 2019 ticket, or have spent at least $100 NTD at KRT souvenir shops can present their tickets or sales receipts at the Kaohsiung Main shop, the Zuoying station tourist information center, or the Formosa Boulevard station shop to receive a free poster. Only 500 will be available per month (April and May) on a first-come-first-serve basis!

As Miku Expo in Taiwan approaches, expect fans in the region to get fired up!
